Actually, it was the corner south of there: Pope/John/Sali/Wmsn (I
think...no map in front of me).  The only down-side to that one is the
necessity of getting permission from the homeowner in whose yard you'll
be parking, plus the fact that you have hills on three sides (open to
the north...listen for LA's and OH's...).

Hank, I think N9JF may have operated there as a portable several years

I noted that NY4N operated mobile from HAMI, WHTE, SALI, GALL.  I'm 
"sorta" interested in operating portable from that location next year, 
and would like to know the lay of the land there.

It's about 470 miles from where I live in Michigan, so any info from 
NY4N, or anyone else in the area, would be appreciated.
