[ILQSO] caveat with logging software

Hi All,
N8XX has done a bit of sleuthing regarding a log entry. He had one
contact in his log submitted to ILQP with a QTH of "COOK" in the raw log
that got translated to "DX" in the Cabrillo file because "COOK" was
entered as the "S/P/C", not the county. This was Hank's ONLY BUSTED
QSO, by the way, which is pretty remarkable. I mention this because I
saw a LOT of these and can only assume something similar happened to the
rest of you when "DX" was present as the QTH for Illinois stations you
worked.
Just something else to worry about when using logging software....
After processing the logs, we have a laundry list of other things to
watch, but I'll compile those later....
Now, go have a great 2008!
73, Jim N9JF
