[ILQSO] Contest conditions

I made only a handfull of QSO's on 20m (about 31)... mostly outside of IL... some Canadian Stations.  Heard Hawii on 15m later in the evening, but conditions dropped out B4 I got a chance to snag'em.

So what were the band conditions like in IL? I was 
surprised at the lack of activity on 20 meters. 40 
was tough to work at the beginning of the contest 
because it was just too short for a solid QSO from OK 
to IL. Did pick up later, but even 40 seemed a little 
less active than usual.
