I would not be at all surprised to hear VE9DX or VE1WT. They are
regulars on the county-hunter nets. Wyoming is almost a certainty with
KO7X. There is one guy from Montana who usually shows up, but I can't
remember his call at the moment. Most of New England usually calls in.
Spend some time on 20 meters and you'll get most of them. I think the
county-hunter community is geared into this well enough that there will
be a LOT of spots on W6RK's network.
Thirty-eight hours and counting....

Anyone know if the rarer states, VE provinces show up on during the
ILQP?
Like some of the VE1's, the VY's, the VE8, and VE9's? During Ohio and
Michigan QSO parties I've had trouble working states like Wyoming,
Montana,
and some of the New England states. They're rare enough in
Sweepsteaks.......
I won't be operating with a spotter - I ran out of time to get my 2
metre
packet rig working, and doubt that there will be any internet coverage
via
cell providers in that area.
