Ok troops. Just to advise everyone that I have a slight adjustment in my
planned county activation. The counties will remain the same, I just reversed the
order. This should be the final time I change unless a county or two needs
picking up close by. Here is how is should go:

1. Massac
2. Pope
3. Hardin
4. Saline
5. Gallatin
6. White
7. Hamilton
8. Wayne
9. Jefferson
10. Washington
11. Perry
12. Jackson
13. Franklin
14. Williamson
15. Johnson
16. Union
17. Pulaski
18. Alexander

Also, there has been talk of using 6 and 2 meters during the contest. I think
a frequency should be decided and posted, especially on 2 FM. It would be
more difficult to use 6 and 2 SSB and CW due to the fact that most base station
antennas are usually horizontal and mobiles would be vertical.
With mobiles running close proximity to each other, 2 meter FM would be a
great way to pick up new counties. Let's pick a frequency, either 146.490 or
146.550 and stick with it. This would help greatly!
On 6 and 2 SSB/CW, polarization may not be a big problem. During the TNQP, my
wife, AF4QB, was in charge of the 6/2 SSB/CW mode, and she worked a few
mobiles close by without any problems. What do you think?
Maybe, we mobiles, could check these frequencies at the top and bottom of
each hour, for a few minutes, and maybe put out a call, we might get lucky.
Just my two cents worth. Input needed. Jeff NY4N good luck to all!
