[ILQSO] 8/CO mults

I have to agree with Jim on this one. I had 7 8
county multiplier, and also just missed 4 or 5 more,
having 6 or 7 QSOs with those counties. On the other
hand, I had a total of 1 QSO with Lake county! Where
was all of the activity from there?
Yes Cook county was very well represented, and if you
can find a way to get people from those highly
populated counties to get on 2 meter FM or 6 meters to
hand out contacts, please let me know. We try that
for every VHF contest here, and we were successful in
one contest in getting the locals out. By the next
contest they ignored emails, special awards for FM
operaters, etc. I made a total of 1 QSO in the 6
meter sprint last weekend, after sending out emails to
all of the locals, etc.
