The last few years we have been setting the station up in my 26 ft
travel trailer. I have barrel connectors through the walls for co-ax
running. We usually use our club's R7 vertical and I also have used a
long wire and my FC40 auto tuner. Last year we set up for PSK31 due to
the fact that youth identify with computers.
There are free cards that record the participation of the Scout in JOTA
and there are patches that We have left the units buy for the boys. If
we were to make it a pure JOTA event, perhaps we could purchase the
patches for the boys but that would involve a lot of effort to collect
addresses, etc. and mail out the patches when they come in. We are
holding JOTA at the fall camporee.
Info on the patches etc can be found on the web site.

See you on the air.
