If you have an interest in training the next generation of Ham Operators,

Ham Instructor Workshop Series -- First Go
Join us for a Webinar on October 11, 22:00 UTC, 5 PM CDT, to sign up go to
the link at the bottom of this email and register...(an email with
connection instructions will be sent back to you after registering).

We all want to be the best Instructors possible, and we all want to have an
easier time preparing, and above all we want our students to get licensed
and have long and active, rewarding experiences at Ham Radio Operators.
How do we accomplish our goals?  Work together we can get the best of the
best and share it around.

The recent Ham Instructor Yahoo Group poll results show the following are of
interest...  (below with 117 votes in now).  Let's have a meeting on the
Internet and start talking about these things.  We can then have long
meetings about each separately, but let's start talking about it now...

1. Elmering: What happens after the class is over? This is an extremely
popular subject!

We have a multi-way tie for #2:
Ten things you need to know...
Instructor resources for numerous topics especially PowerPoint
Web resources, moving beyond reading a PowerPoint
How to find students and get them into your class

That would be Five topics each with 10 minutes

With 2 minutes each...
I have, you have, together we can have it all - Sharing resources
Utilizing your volunteers
Recruiting new teachers
Funding/Charging for a class, value of a book and a monitory commitment

We can have a one minute intro and exit... and there you have an hour
meeting.
