147.315 is the repeater for the Metro Amateur Radio Club. But the North Shore 
Radio Club was broadcasting AR Newsline last night, not MAC. Their frequency 
is 147.345. The reception on their 2-meter band was spotty off and on for that 
portion I heard on my HT. The NSRC also links to its 440 repeater, which had 
better reception from where I was (around 6500 Irving Park Rd in Chicago).
