All techs will receive the same privileges presently granted to Novice 
and TechPlus. This is probably not going to be very exciting to some, 
because although it gives the tech privileges on HF, they are CW only 
and limited to 3.5, 7, and 21 MHz CW subbands. Some additional 
privileges exist on 28 MHz only, permitting digital and phone operation. 
Techs retain the same privileges they have had on all frequencies above 
30 MHz.

Note that the changes to the subband edges will go into effect before 
the change in the code requirement. So the band edges of the CW/digital 
subbands are going to be different than they were in most print 
materials. I'd suggest that you check the ARRL web site for all the 
revisions (http://www.arrl.org). They presently have a chart of the 
current band divisions, but I'm sure it will be updated for the new 
changes very soon. See
