What works when other Communication systems fail? HAM RADIO. How can you
talk to anyone in the world with no roaming fees or airtime charges? Become
an Amateur (Ham) Radio operator!
As an amateur radio operator you'll get to:
* Serve your community
* Talk to other hams on the radio
* Meet new friends
* Have your own individual callsign
The Metro Amateur Radio Club will be holding a 10 week course where YOU will
learn everything you need to earn your entry level FCC Amateur Radio license
and begin to talk on the radio with other hams in the area.
WHEN: Thursday evenings, October 6 through December 15, 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
(NO class on November 24)
WHERE: Bethlehem Lutheran Church (1334 Wesley, Evanston, Illinois 60201)
WHO: Metro Amateur Radio Club
COST: $25 (Includes "Now You're Talking" textbook and course materials.
Cost DOES NOT cover 35 question examination fee).
