Join the York Radio Club in Elmhurst for a Technician
Class training session Nov. 12-13. 

This two-day training session will instruct you on
everything you need to pass the test for a Technician
Class ham radio ticket. At the end of the weekend,
testing sessions will be offered.

Our instructors are General and Extra class amateur
operators who enjoy teaching others. Most are high
school, middle school and university teachers in real
life, with years of teaching experience. 

Required Supplies: While we furnish a large number of
handouts, we do expect that those who attend the class
will come prepared with note-taking materials. A
calculator is also occasionally needed. We also
require that you purchase AND HAVE READ BEFORE THE
CLASS BEGINS the book, "Now You're Talking," 5th
edition, published by the ARRL. 

Location: Our class is held at the Elmhurst Fire
Department, Station #1, 404 N. York St. (park behind
or beside the station and enter through the steel door
in the back).
