[ILHam] York Radio Club Two Meter Simplex Net 3-7-05

Chuck Hopper, K9PLX, will serve as Net Control Operator for the York Radio
Club two-meter simplex Traffic and Information Net on Monday, March 7,
2005.

The net starts at 8:00 p.m. on 147.420 simplex. All amateur operators are
encouraged to check in.

Chuck will conduct the net from Elmhurst Fire Station #1, 404 N. York
Street in Elmhurst, Illinois.  This is a good opportunity to test your 
two-meter
simplex station.

Starting on Monday, March 7th and continuing through the end of March,
when you check in to the 2 Meter net, try it with emergency equipment and
power if you can.  Spread the word.
