What is the criteria, format, and objective of the ILHam list?  I have received these e-mails for some time now after subscribing to it and it seems that all of the info that is passed on this list is stuff that is going on in and around the Chicago area (with in about 50 miles from the center of Chicago).  Is it a list that is suppose to cover the entire State of Illinois, or what is its primary use?  It seems that the main use has been to list nets that are being held in the Chicago area (which is a good thing), but there is no way any one any farther south than Illinois State route 17 (Kankakee and points east and west across the state), can check into a VHF or UHF net held in Chicago area or farther north.  If the purpose is to cover the entire State of Illinois, then please send me the guide lines for info that can be put on this net and we will start using it as well here in the Central Part of Illinois.
