The North Shore Radio Club, NS9RC, has several repeaters. Two of them are
usually linked for the Thursday evening nets: the two meter repeater (147.345
MHz, + 600 Hz., PL 107.2 Hz.) and the 440 repeater (442.075 +5MHz., PL 100.0
Hz.). Those checking in to the 8:00 p.m. net may do so on either repeater.
It's
suggested that the operator pause for about a second after keying the
microphone
to allow the linkage to pick up the request to transmit.
In addition to local traffic, the NSRC net includes the RAIN report, this
week talking about the essentials of ULS and CORES and AR Newsline, which this
week will talk about Australia's potential new ham frequency and San Diego's
proposal for BPL.
All check-ins are welcome Thursdays at 8:00 p.m. Check-ins are taken by net
control at the beginning of the net, between RAIN and Newsline, and after
Newsline.
Our net control station for August 20 is Mark, WA9IVH.
