The York Radio Club will demonstrate radio direction finding techniques at 
Elmhurst College during its August meeting on August 20, 2004.

The club will meet at 8:00 p.m. at the Schaible Science Center parking lot 
on the corner of south Prospect Avenue and west Elm Park Avenue in Elmhurst, 
Illinois.

This is a free event and open to the public.

Club members and guests will be given an introduction to radio direction 
finding techniques, also known as amateur radio fox hunting, and attempt to 
locate a hidden radio transmitter on the Elmhurst College campus.

The York Radio Club offers VE testing for all Amateur Radio elements before 
the General Meeting.  Testing starts at 7:00 p.m. sharp at Schaible Science 
Center.  Walk-ins are welcome.

Talk-in is on York Radio Club W9PCS repeater.  The output frequency is 
442.875 MHz, and the input frequency is 447.875 MHz, with 114.8 PL. and on 
147.42 MHz simplex.
