[ICOM] IF filter signal passing through

	GE, I'm troubleshhoting my IC-706MKII.

I noted last weekend, in SSB a signal coming from either side, passing 
zero beat and sweeping to the opposite side, can be heard upto 5..7 KHz 
away (with corresponding beat note variation).

So, I mean, rig at 14100 KHz, then I feed a 50 uV 14107 KHz signal with 
my RF gen then sweep downto 13993 (approx), and I can hear the beat 
coming down then crossing zero beat, and going away.

Either at SSB, CW.

To my surprise, I desoldered and pulled out FL-272 filter, the only one 
I have (no optinal filters) and the problem stays, so, the input IF 
signal is bypassing the crystal filter, partially or totally.

Any hint is appreciated....
