[ICOM] Icom 7100 noise blanker question

 I had a chance to borrow an Icom 9700 over the weekend and was impressed
with how well the NB on it took out the RFI hash some of my daughter's
electronics create on 2 meters.  These electronics also create a real
racket on HF and this has me thinking such a NB could be a solution to this
problem.  I assume the 7300 uses the same NB as the 9700, but the 7100
would be a little better suited to my needs.  Does anyone on the list know
if the 7100 uses the same NB circuit as the 9700 does?
