[ICOM] Current consumption of IC-7000 when OFF?

Jerry,

Get a good DMM (at least better than yours - LOL!), pull one of the car
battery terminals, and measure the current drain when all the doors are
closed and every device is shut off.  That will tell you how much "phantom"
power is being drawn by computers, etc.  It will also alert you to any
rogue device such as a stuck brake light switch, trunk light switch, etc.
Some cars have a manual light switch in the cargo area that can be switched
on even if the ignition is off.
