[ICOM] Icom 7100 audio issues fixed?

I am thinking of getting an Icom 7100 and in reading the reviews on eham.net,
it appears that almost everyone loves the radio, but 2 issues were
mentioned quite often:

1. The radio doesn't put out a full 100 watts on SSB
2. There is a ticking sound in the SSB transmitted audio

Have these issues been fixed in newer radios?  Is there a serial number
range you want to be after to know that the 7100 wouldn't have these issues?

Also, some of the previous Icom radios I have owned seemed to have an
"overaggressive" SWR foldback, reducing power if the SWR was about anything
over 1:1.  Does the 7100 seem to suffer with this issue as well?
