[ICOM] IC-271A Problem

I put my IC-271A to storage several years ago. Everything worked except
sometimes I would have to shut it down and turn it back on for the display
to 'boot' correctly. Taking it out of storage, now when ever I turn it on
only part of the display shows. A few days ago it was worse than it is today
as now only the first frequency digit on the left is incorrect.
Any ideas for repair?
