[ICOM] Icom 756 tuner help

Recently the tuner on my Icom 756 original hasn't been acting much like a
tuner.  If I do a full reset it will match my close to resonance antenna,
just like it should be. However, if I turn it off, the next time I turn it
on it won't be able to match these antennas.  It will work if I do a full
reset of the radio, it will work, until I turn it off, then it won't work.

Has anyone else had this problem or have any ideas as to what is going on
with it?
