[ICOM] Icom 7300-a contest radio?

I've done some contesting with mine (but I'm not really an HF contester..)
In my view it works quite well. The bandscope help find other stations to work in my experience. For the money I spent for the radio I am quite pleased.
In my opinion If the bandscope isn't a consideration there might be some other choices for a similar amount of money. I really wanted a bandscope so buying the 7300 was a logical choice for me.
