Hi Gary,

Nice to see you post here. As I recall, the two main (TP1) primaries must be
connected in series, aiding, for 220-240V mains. Also, the primary of the
auxiliary transformer (TP2) must be fed with 100V. Normally, it is
sufficient to configure the straps on the terminal block per the manual.

The main primary wiring is Pri 1 (lower) 117V to Pri 2 (upper) 0V, Pri 1 0V
to mains red, Pri 2 117V to mains black. The neutral (mains white) is not
used. Pri 1 100V must go to M14 on the REG board.

I suspect that relay RL1 in Bill's 2KLPS is chattering because the primary
of TP2 is not getting the right voltage and RL2 is not latching as a result.
(RL1/RL2 are the soft-start circuit.)

Doing this from memory, as I sold my 2KL in 1998 to buy a Quadra which I
still have. I hope the above will be helpful.
