Connected to a transceiver control application via a CI-V interface, an IC-761's current frequency and mode can both be tracked and
modified.

A CI-V interface is in there, though the list of commands available is not impressive. If memory serves correctly, you can only get
band and mode data travelling both ways. I think, there is even no freq read-out. No "PTT via CI-V" for sure, you have to do it by
separate hardware (the old good dingle transistor key).

I am planning to work some digital modes on my IC-761.

Looking at an external sound card/interface box to connect to my PC.

Looking at some info it appears that Icom implemented some sort of CIV computer interface on this rig.

Does anyone know what functions are available other than RCV and Xmit control?

Any frequency control?

Tnx
