[ICOM] 756 Pro II display probs HELP REQUESTED

I have an ICOM 756 Pro II that has just recently developed display problems. The S meter is lit and reads half scale however there is no audio no matter where you set the volume control. In addition the TFT display is blank. and if I remember correctly it will not transmit either. I have tried resetting the radio according to the manual. I have tried searching this list archives but had to do it manually since I can not find out how to do an automated search (any help appreciated)
