My Icom 775 suddenly developed an unusual issue.  The audio is way down and
somewhat distorted.  If you turn the RF gain down, you begin to hear a tone,
all the way down and nothing but tone.  Also, the volume control only seems
to work to about half way, then there is no more gain.
Anyone seen this before? Before I go tearing into the radio, counting on
tribal knowledge to point me in the right direction...
