[ICOM] Wave Files not keying IC746 VOX

I am terribly sorry if I offended anyone and obviously I misunderstood what
he said.

Quote "Tried to play music on the air? Is it allowed?"

I thought that he was a ham asking a question and I noticed no one was
answering it.
So I tried to answer it the best that I could thinking "on the air" was
broadcasting and
Music was just that.....music. However, I did learn something from my
misunderstanding.
I learned to keep my mouth shut and let you handle everything. No more from
me.

: Should have asked if it was allowed before doing it. No music is not
allowed
: unless you are in the International Space Station.

Nobody mentioned music broadcasts. Maybe he's gearing up for field day or a

contest and doesn't want to lose his voice calling CQ a million times over.
Just press a button and wait for a response. Another old-school technique.
When did that start, the mid-70's, maybe?
