[ICOM] Internal tuners

Dwayne, I can give you two reasons why it may not be a good idea, at least here in the States. 1.Depending on the circuitry employed in the amp's input, It is possible to have some of the Amplifier's circualating RF cathode cathode pass through the exciter's tuner which it may not be designed to handle. This is a rare occurance, but is still possible. 2. An amplifier on 10 Mhz may produce output power in excess of the rules for the 10 Mhz. band.

Tnx Julio,, Oh and about the 200watts,, Yes I think you folks in the states
are limited to 200 w,,and I can understand that reg. only 50 Khz. I have
never driven this amp up to its limit,, But my thinking is to get up to 250
(thats what this 775 will do ) Its easier on the radio.. with helpfrom the
amp.. Useing this 775 is like driving one's Town Car to work everyday...
Tnx everyone
