[ICOM] Icom 7000 question

[KK2DOG in NY]

My 706MKIIG stays at the last power level used on each band. I don't see why the 7000 wouldn't either.

I just perused the manual and found nothing indicating setting output power by band in vfo mode. However, the hand mic has programmable keys. Perhaps that is a work around?
