[ICOM] Icom 781 filters question

I have seen some comments about replacing some of the filters in the 781
with different filter width ones, like for SSB.  Are the filters soldered
in, or are they just drop in and pull out ones?  Also wondering about CW
ones in case I wanted to replace some with INRAD filters.
