[ICOM] IC746pro or IC-7400 Service Adjustment Mode ??

Hi all,

So I'm working on a 7400 aka 746pro and I'm stepping through the 
adjustment procedures in the service manual and I get to the "Adjustment 
Mode" Section 5-5 of the service manual.

To get into ADJ mode... Terminate the remote socket, hold down MENU & 
SSB while turning the power on.

This isn't working for me even after a CPU reset.

Has anyone seen this ?

Is there some other magic three finger action ?

Do your radio's go into ADJ mode when doing that action ?

Any help appreciated!
