[ICOM] IC-735, no control of output

I don't know about the output control, but one of my friends has found
a good source of replacement meter lamps and the like. He found a bunch
of discarded LED Christmas lights in white - he's good at dumpster diving,
hi. The LED have a conical hole in the front end, which seems to make
the light go in all directions rather than sharply to the front.

He turns a heat gun on the green plastic while holding the clear LED with
pliers. The green plastic softens and can be pulled off without melting
the clear LED. Then the LED is just about the right size to fit into
the holes for meter lights and that sort of thing. Test for polarity and
voltage and insert a series resistor to limit the current and you have
a meter light that will last forever.
