Tom: Take a look at Scott Malcom's web page. Scott operates MTS (Malcom Technical Services), and his tips page has pictures of the old and new ceramic replacement caps. An e-mail to Scott would likely  get all the info you require.

replacements that
cures this VCO trimmer problem.
They may still have them, contact Icom tech support and they should be able
