You don't want to use the same plastic trimmer caps. Icom had some ceramic
replacements that
cures this VCO trimmer problem.
They may still have them, contact Icom tech support and they should be able
to give
you the part numbers for the ceramics.

replaced in the R71A?  I am looking for the manufacturer and part numbers.



My 30 year old R71A has developed the raspy audio disease and is in need of
