[ICOM] Icom 775 DSP

All-
Hoping someone can advise me on this issue.
I Recently purchased a 775DSP, and have noticed that when the "monitor" frequency is below a certain point, the radio suddenly will not hear anything, even on the main band.  Not sure of the exact frequency, but it is between 10 and 14 MHz.  Anything below that, and nothing.  I have searched the internet, and found no mention of this....So looking to this group for help.
If anyone has some good tips and tricks about the radio in general, would like to get those as well.
