[ICOM] 756Pro3 tuning knob turns roughly

Gentlemen, I removed the rubber ring from the tuning knob, but there are no
visible set screws anywhere. The knob is perfectly smooth, there are no
indentations of any sort, nor are there any holes.

There is a small Phillips head screw to the right of the knob. It has no
effect on anything.

Joe - Check your manual. On the PRO II the drag is set by a small Phillips
head screw to the right of the knob. ICOM calls it "tuning dial brake
adjustment". You might try taking the rubber ring off the knob, loosening
the set screw(s) and moving the knob a hair away from the case.
