[ICOM] IC-2100 audio

I had 2 2100's at the same time one crackled and one did not. I 
enter-changed mic's and that had nothing to do with the noise.

Some of the radios did not exhibit the speaker crackle, only the over
the air crackle. The HM-98S was the mike released on the 2100. However,
later models or last production models may have the HM-133 since it
appeared on the 2200 and 2300 afterwords. I frankly didn't like the
HM-133 especially mobile hence why I changed my 2200 to the HM-98. There
are many of these rigs out there, you could always ask to borrow
someones mike to see how it performs on your rig. I know of people here
with the 2200 and 2300 had similar problems and changed the mike and the
problem seem to go away.

Sorry, that's about all the suggestions I can come up with. A mike swap
is probably the best way to determine whether it is the mike or radio.
