[ICOM] ICOM IC-7200 info.

Looking for information as some one that has operated a ICOM IC-7200.
Looking for a portable HF rig to follow me out on to the tundra .......

Did Icom get the microphone thing worked out?

How do you feel the auto notch works?

Why is the ICOM IC-7200 more $$ than the Yaesu FT-897 ?

Not the I would use the "FM" thing , However just speculating as to why no
"FM"

 I have been in front of the higher end HF rigs and have been spoiled with
the capability of a LID filter and look to find "that" in a portable rig. I
did have a FT-897 and found a hiss in the receiver this was noticed in all
band conditions. Will the ICOM IC-7200 have a "hiss"

Any thing else that I have missed?
