222 MHz is only in the western hemisphere. There is enough demand for FM
rigs that the JAs make those but not enough demand for 222 all modes to
make it worthwhile. Most HF rigs do not have xverter in and out plugs
either these days and people are reluctant to drill holes in them for
xverters plus taping into the right spots on the boards.
