[ICOM] Running mobile with some CW problems

Not with the 706, but I've found the wiring to the lighter socket to be 
too light for even a 50 Watt VHF/UHF rig.  That wire gets *HOT* and has 
excessive voltage drop.  With the engine running the rig worked, but the 
socket got so hot the plug softened and lost contact.

Tried a Trans Am, Ford T-Bird, and Toyota 4-Runner.
