Thanks for supplying the info Dave.Unfortunately I cannot provide a "look at this"quick answer, not having any experience on the IC-765. Looking at its manual, I would first suggest your looking at the PA module input, and then working backward to find where the fault lies. I am sure a copy of the Service manual will help.I also see the 765 is an over 20 year old Quad conversion rig, which makes it more difficult to diagnose,my  having no prior history of owning one.You will likely need to determine in which of these stages is at fault. There are several former Icom repair techs out there who cold likely steer you in a good direction.

1. Running into 50 ohm load Tuner on or off - Power out remains the same in
to Array Solutions Power Master II. Coax connection 2'
2. Internal power supply PS35. Voltage is same on all bands 13.6VDC. Current
declined consistent with output.
3. PO on the 765 consistent with what I read on the PM II.
4. Looks like the drive declines at 20M to 10M - Output is 60W at 20M and
30W at 10M

Thanks\
Dave

There are several questions that require an answer first. Is the built in
antenna tuner turned off and in bypass mode? Is your external wattmeter that
you are using for your measurements accurate thru 10 meters, and is it
located at or near the RF output connector of your 765? Is the DC power
supply that you are using rated for the required DC current and not going
into current limit at the higher bands? Is the DC voltage supplied to the
765 actually 13.8 volts when measured at the DC input of the rig at full
current load? these are all things that could affect the accuracy of RF
output power.

160M to 40M the output is 100 watts are better. 20M and up progressively
lower output 60 watts to 40watts on 10M.

Any recommendations where to start to look?

Thanks
Dave
