I wish you could stick around Mike.  You may no longer be able to walk 
the walk but you can certainly talk the talk and there are a lot of 
folks who can and have benefited from all that experience to carry 
around in your head.  If it would help, I am sure I could find someone 
to loan you an old piece of ICOM gear you can feel "official."  :)
