[ICOM] Resignation.

Good evening Icom friends.
I have been a member of this list a long time. Made many friends, received
help and tried to give back too. But it is at an end. I sold all my ICOM
gear. The IC-781 went to a happy home. The antenna tuner also. The IC-2KL
had several offers, but finally someone decided it was worth what I was
asking for it, so it too has a new home. And I even let the R-9000 go. I
just wasn't using it. After selling all the accessories, I only had to
cough up a few $$$ for a new radio. It was time for a change.
Since I no longer own any ICOM gear, I am moving on. Thanks to you all for
your help over the years. Thanks to Gary for so many things, including
supporting us in a combat zone (We were surrounded by silicone but couldn't
make diodes).
And thanks to Dick for running the show. I still remember one comment made
about Dick after he had to clamp down on the list. It was "This list ain't
no democracy, it is a DICK-TATER-SHIP".
Who knows.... if ICOM fixes that static discharge sensitivity trouble, and
improves the receivers, I may be back. My E-mail on QRZ is good if anyone
needs to find me.
Best of luck to you all, and thanks Dick.
