Probably 15 years ago or so one local UHF repeater had some
interference, turned out to be a leaking high voltage insulator. The
power company scheduled an outage and cleaned up the insulators on the
pole, the problem went away.
It was a good find as the noise seemed like a signal not electrical noise.
Good luck getting your issue solved its nice to be nice but don't be
afraid to rattle the FCC in their face if they seem to be feet dragging.
power companies are not allowed to cause you interference as you know
already.
