[ICOM] IC 28a question

Bob,

I had a similiar problem with an IC-47. I cleaned the pot by applying
Tri-Flow to the shaft with the front of the radio pointing up. I let it soak
down through the shaft while turning it back and forth. It eventually got
enough to reach the wiper.

If you are not familiar with Tri-Flow, it is a general purpose penetrant/lub
with Teflon. It makes a good cleaner and does not gum up like WD-40.
It is an excellent cleaner/lub for pot and tuning shafts.

Its available at hardware and bicycle shops. They use it for chain lub. You
can also find it at Auto parts.
