[ICOM] IC 775 clicks

Hi,

Thank's for all info. I posted the subject also on Topband list and must
admit some people say they have never experienced clicks from their 775,
others say it's a common problem with this equipment, but no mod
available...

I have my IC 775 (DXII) since 2006, of course I know about the proper
settings of DRIVE control vs. ALC meter, etc. As I mentioned before - there
are clicks regardless of PA, even on 40-50watts pwr out, directely from TRX.
Also, no difference on full BK / semi BK.

I'm aware there might be a problem with this particular unit and the radio
needs a repair, no mod. We will check the D37 diode that OK1CF suggested and
also will look for other possible reason in RF Unit. I we find sth
interesting I'will post it here.
