[ICOM] IC-746 FS

For sale: Very nice IC-746 (s/n 05067) with the following:

1) FL-232 350Hz RTTY/CW filter
2) FL-223 1.9kHz SSB filter
3) FL-52A 500Hz CW filter
4) USB/serial computer control cable
5) Heil Pro-Set microphone adapter
6) After-market cooling fan that plugs into the rear of the rig
7) DC power cable with Anderson Power Pole connectors
8) Home-brew interface cable for PC serial port to the IC-746 DIN 
connector for CW/RTTY keying. It's an ugly little spud but it works 
fine. A small metal enclosure with the cable has the simple transistor 
interface circuitry for serial port to radio interface.
9) Complete instruction manual (a good copy in ring binder), including 
full-size schematic drawings. Also includes other documents like the 
ARRL Lab report on the IC-746, CT-17 manual (which we no longer have) 
and more data relating to computer interfacing for control and RTTY 
operation.

The IC-746 has only one issue...the front panel transmit button does not 
work. Otherwise the rig works great and has been used extensively for 
CW/SSB/RTTY contest operation, which is the reason for the complement of 
filters.

We will not provide the microphone. It did not come with one when 
purchased and we are keeping our Heil ProSet for use with our Elecraft K-3.

Of course, the K-3 is the reason the IC-746 is excess to our needs. We 
will be using the proceeds of this equipment sale to help acquire an 
Elecraft KPA-500 solid-state amplifier.

$700.00 plus shipping from 89429. If local pick-up is arranged I can 
also offer our Astron RS-20A power supply for $70.00 as part of a 
package deal. I will not ship the power supply.
