[ICOM] IC-V85 error message UNPG

Hi everyone:

I have an IC-V85 2m handheld. It was working fine, but now the display  
only shows "UNPG" and the radio doesn't work at all (no access to VFO  
or memories, no audio other than a click when turning on and off).

The volume control knob still works, and while turning the knob the  
display shows the volume changing.  While doing this, I can also  
glimpse on the display that some controls are working (e.g. if I  
change the xmit power level, I can see the appropriate icon while  
rotating the volume control).

I've done a partial and full reset, but it makes no difference. And I  
can't find anything in the owners or service manual.

Appreciate any ideas.
