John: There are 3 solutions to using a PS-125 on a radio with the newer style power connector. 1. Use an adapter that plugs into the PS-125 and then the other radio. This is the simplest and lowest cost way. 2. Remove the connector from the end of the PS-125, and replace it with the connector utilized by the PS-126. This is the next simplest solution, but shortens the DC power cord. 3. Replace the DC power cord and connector of the PS-125 with the one of the PS-126. This is the most expensive and labor intensive solution.

Does anyone have information on converting the power cord on an ICOM PS-125 so that it can be used as a PS-126?  Is the cord replaced or is the end connector replaced?  Are there any caveats in doing this?
This is my first time on the list in a long time.  Sorry if this is a rehash for some of you.
